HOT NEWS !!

Text Box: CTR Last Chance Fall Cruise
October 19th -

As reported in the August news letter, October 19th will be the date of this year’s Last Chance Cruise. Janet and Alex Thomson have identified two places of interest to visit this year.

Jones Family Farm of Shelton offers a variety of berry crops, pumpkins, Christmas trees, crafts and wines. They will host a wine tasting program for us at 10:45. The $6 per person fee provides a tasting of six different wines and you take home the actual wine glass. See their operation at www.JonesFamilyFarms.com.

We will then travel to The Blue Colony Diner in Newtown for lunch. This newly renovated facility offers family style meals in a very distinctive chrome sided “dining car” building. You can see their menu at www.BlueColonyDiner.com.

The afternoon attraction will be the Golden Age of Trucking Museum in Middlebury. The Guerrera family has assembled an amazing collection of antique and classic trucks that are on display in a modern building. Part of the collection is permanent while many vehicles are on loan from other area collectors. Their website is www.GoldenAgeTruckMuseum.com. Admission is $8 per person.

Schedule:
10:00 – 10:30 AM	Meet at Jones Family Farm at 606 Walnut Tree Hill Rd., Shelton. Walnut Tree Hill Rd. is accessed by Israel Hill Rd. from Ct. Rt. 110.
10:45 Wine Tasting
12:30 PM Arrive at the Blue Colony Diner in Newtown at the intersection of Church Hill Rd. (U.S. Rt. 6) and exit 10 of I-84.

Remember, this is the tentative program – things can change. Check out the October issue of the CTR newsletter or click onto www.CTriumph.com for additional updates.
