We have a new format for our monthly meetings. Social time is from 6:00-7:30 pm. 7:30-8:30 Meeting. We hope that you will consider joining us as often as you are able. We welcome your ideas and suggestions on how to keep our club vital and fun. Occasionally, a meeting can be held in a different place. Last summer, for instance, we met at Mark’s Classic Auto Cruise Night in Granby, CT and combined a meeting with a fun outdoor event. What type of events would you be interested in attending? Come to the meeting and let us know or send us an email with your idea. We currently do not have an April event planned. Perhaps one of you has a road trip you love that you would like to share with the club members? Or a favorite vineyard or brewery? Or a picnic spot that would fit the bill? There is much in Connecticut to see, why not share where you’ve been?

Ladies, do you like to get together for shopping excursions? High tea? Hikes? Garden tours? Birding? All are perfect excuses to get the group together. Meet in a designated spot, follow the route, enjoy the destination and the friendships!

Gentlemen, we know that it does not take much to get you to want to go for a drive...why not tell us your favorite roads for touring?

Has anyone combined weird and wacky cruises? Cruise, fishing, eat, cruise home. Cruise, kites on the beach, eat, cruise home. Cruise, breakfast, cruise home. Cruise, catch a matinee, cruise home. Cruise, drive-in movie, cruise home. Cruise, golf, eat, cruise home. Cruise, museum, eat, cruise home. Cruise, hike, picnic, cruise home. Cruise, tour Connecticut’s covered bridges, eat, cruise home…(oh that one may be in the works)!

So many ideas, so little time! Let’s create some new and fun experiences this year!

About Us:

Membership in The Connecticut Triumph Register (CTR) is open to anyone with an interest in Triumph cars - any year, any model, any condition! Previous Triumph owners, current Triumph owners, even prospective Triumph owners are welcome to join our family-oriented Club. To join the club, click on ‘Join CTR’.
CTR Club meetings are held at the Oasis Restaurant in Forestville (860-585-9393) on the third Monday of each month (except for December). The gathering usually starts with food and drink around 6:30 pm, followed by the business end of the meeting, and is usually over by 8:30 p.m. To reach the Oasis Restaurant, take exit 33 off I84 (east or west). Follow route 72 west to the second light (approx. 2 miles). Turn left onto Lincoln Street, then left again onto Pine Street. The Oasis Restaurant is on the right.
The CTR club tries to sponsor an event each month, such as trips to other club shows, Auto-jumbles, trips to local wineries, drive-in cruises, etc. and our annual car show held each September at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT. All of these events can be found by clicking on ‘Event Calendar’.
